This trip can be an epic two week adventure of a lifetime, or split into two very separate one week trips. We had people doing both in our group I have outlined below how to split the weeks.
From the rugged beauty of Vancouver Island to the majestic Canadian Rockies, this journey will showcase some of Canada’s most stunning landscapes.
Week 1: Vancouver Island

Day 1-3: Vancouver to Tofino Start your road trip by taking the ferry from Vancouver to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. Drive west to Tofino, a coastal town known for its stunning beaches and rugged scenery. Spend a few days exploring Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, surfing, hiking through ancient rainforests (this is a must), and relaxing on Long Beach. Don’t miss the hot springs in nearby Maquinna Provincial Park.

Day 4-6: Tofino to Victoria Travel south to Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia. Enjoy the picturesque drive through the island’s countryside. In Victoria, explore the historic Inner Harbour, visit the Royal BC Museum, and wander through the beautiful Butchart Gardens. Take a whale-watching tour or visit the stunning Craigdarroch Castle. Spend your evenings sampling local cuisine and exploring the vibrant downtown area.
