We managed to squeeze this trip in from the UK by only taking 4 annual leave days! this however did include two bank holiday days. This can be done in one week, however we could’ve easily extended each location by a day to make it a longer two week trip
Stop 1-2: Panama City – Explore and Party
Begin your adventure in Panama City. Spend your first couple of days exploring the historic Casco Viejo district, marveling at the modern skyline, and indulging in the city’s vibrant nightlife. Visit popular spots like the Panama Canal Museum to learn about the history and significance of this engineering marvel.

Stop 3: Visit the Panama Canal
As you drive through visit the Panama Canal, a true engineering feat that connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Start at the Miraflores Locks Visitor Center, where you can watch massive ships pass through the locks. Learn about the canal’s construction and its impact on global trade through interactive exhibits. If time allows, consider a boat tour to get closer to the action.

Stop 4-5: Coiba Island – Diving Paradise
After exploring Panama City and the canal, head to Coiba Island for some unforgettable diving experiences. Spend two days diving among vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life. Keep an eye out for sharks, rays, and colorful fish as you explore the underwater world of Coiba National Park.
Stop 6-7: Gamboa Rainforest – Nature Retreat
Next, venture inland to the Gamboa Rainforest. Immerse yourself in the lush jungle surroundings and enjoy activities like birdwatching, canopy tours, or wildlife spotting along the Panama Canal. Take a boat tour through the rainforest to see monkeys, sloths, and exotic birds in their natural habitat.
Stop 9 – 10 Boquete (if you have less time pick between here and Gamboa)
Explore Boquete, Panama for its breathtaking mountain scenery, vibrant coffee farms, diverse outdoor activities, and a peaceful atmosphere—a perfect destination to unwind and connect with nature. For a perfect free day do the 7 waterfall hike.



Stop 8: Return to Panama City
Wrap up your road trip by returning to Panama City. Reflect on your incredible experiences and perhaps revisit favorite spots or pick up some souvenirs before departing.
