Day 1: Relaxation and Wine Tasting
Fly into Podgorica from London Gatwick and get a 20min taxi straight to Eco Resort Cermeniza, we were greeted by the rustic charm of the old rooms surrounding a pool with a breath taking mountain view. The atmosphere was serene, perfect for unwinding with friends. We spent the day lounging by the pool in the vineyard, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the tranquil surroundings.
In the evening, we were treated to a complimentary wine tasting session showcasing the local wines produced at the resort. The flavours were delightful, complemented by the picturesque sunset over the mountains. Afterward, we walked to a nearby town for dinner, immersing ourselves in the local culture and cuisine.
Day 2: Kayaking Adventure on Lake Skadar
The next morning, we embarked on a kayaking adventure on Lake Skadar, a haven for nature enthusiasts. There are lots of places in town where you can rent the kayaks. The lake boasts incredible bird life and stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lush landscapes. Paddling through calm waters, there is the opportunity to spot herons, cormorants, and even glimpses of rare pelicans—a paradise for wildlife lovers.
After our kayaking excursion, we returned to Eco Resort Cermeniza to freshen up and enjoy a leisurely afternoon before heading back home, rejuvenated and filled with wonderful memories.

Negatives
The only negative i need to mention is the food. When we were there it was pretty much only Carp on the menu. There were some nice charcuterie boards and we had lamb one night but there are limited choices at the restaurants.
