Welcome, fellow adventurers! Today, I’m excited to share my recent journey to Jordan—a captivating land where ancient history meets breathtaking natural wonders and warm hospitality. Join me as we explore an itinerary packed with desert escapades, marvels of Petra, and serene relaxation by the Red Sea.
Day 1-2: Wadi Rum – Bedouin Camp Experience
Arrive in Jordan and head straight to Wadi Rum, a stunning desert landscape. Spend two nights in a traditional Bedouin camp, where you’ll sleep under a blanket of stars, enjoy authentic Bedouin meals, and explore the desert on camel rides. Engage with the local Bedouin culture and take in the breathtaking scenery of sandstone mountains and vast red sands.
Day 3: Drive to Petra
After breakfast, drive to Petra. Check into the Seven Wonders Luxury Camps located just outside Petra. Spend the afternoon relaxing and exploring Petra’s surroundings. Day 4: Petra Exploration
Dedicate a full day to exploring Petra, the ancient city carved into rose-colored cliffs. Walk through the Siq—a narrow canyon—leading to Petra’s Treasury. Discover the tombs, temples, and amphitheaters hidden within this UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk yourself through, right to the end where the buildings get more and more impressive.
Day 5: Drive to Aqaba
Leave Petra and drive to Aqaba along the Red Sea coast. Check into your beachfront accommodation. Check out the spice markets and wonder along the beach front.
Day 6-7: Aqaba – Red Sea Relaxation
Enjoy two days of relaxation by the Red Sea. Spend your time snorkeling in Aqaba’s sea gardens, lounging on pristine beaches, and savoring fresh seafood. Indulge in the serenity of this seaside paradise before departing for your onward journey.
