Week-Long Holiday Itinerary: Sailing or by land Corfu and Paxos

Land Travel Option: If you prefer to stay on land, you can easily explore Paxos and the surrounding areas by ferry, foot, or taxi. Ferries from Corfu to Paxos are frequent and reliable, and once on the islands, taxis and local buses provide convenient transportation. Walking allows you to experience the scenic beauty up close, from charming villages to hidden beaches.

Day 1: Arrival in Corfu

• Morning/Afternoon: Arrive in Corfu, the beautiful Ionian island known for its lush greenery and charming towns.
• Evening: Spend the night exploring Corfu Town, with its narrow streets, vibrant nightlife, and historic sites. Enjoy a delicious Greek dinner at one of the local tavernas.

Day 2: Corfu to Syvota

• Morning: Set sail from Corfu and head towards Syvota. The journey offers stunning views of the Ionian Sea. If traveling by ferry, take a ferry to Igoumenitsa and then a short drive to Syvota.

• Morning: Head south to Gaios, the capital of Paxos. On the way, stop by Ben’s Bar for a refreshing cocktail. If traveling by land, take a taxi or local bus to Gaios.
• Afternoon: Arrive in Gaios, a bustling town with colorful buildings and narrow streets. Explore the town, visit local shops, and take in the vibrant ambiance.
• Evening: Dine at a waterfront restaurant, enjoying the local cuisine and beautiful sunset views.

Day 5: Gaios to Anti Paxos

• Morning: Set sail for Anti Paxos, a small island south of Paxos known for its pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. If on foot, take a boat trip from Gaios to Anti Paxos.
• Afternoon: Anchor in Voutoumi Bay, famous for its turquoise waters and white sandy beach. Spend the day swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing on the beach.
• Evening: Enjoy a peaceful evening on board or visit one of the beach bars for a drink.

Day 6: Exploring Anti Paxos

• Morning: Continue exploring Anti Paxos. Visit the beautiful Vrika Beach, another stunning spot with crystal-clear waters.
• Afternoon: Take a dinghy to explore the island’s coastline, discovering hidden coves and secluded beaches. If on foot, explore the island’s walking trails.

Day 7: Anti Paxos to Corfu (via West Coast Paxos)

• Morning: Sail around the west coast of Paxos, famous for its impressive sea caves. Stop to explore the Blue Caves, a must-see natural wonder. If on foot, take a boat tour around the west coast from Gaios.
• Afternoon: Continue your journey back to Corfu. Enjoy the stunning views and perhaps a final swim in the clear Ionian waters.
• Evening: Arrive back in Corfu. Spend your last evening reminiscing about your adventure and enjoying the vibrant nightlife of Corfu Town.
